Procedures for Connecting

  1. Call Dakota Plains Connection at 877-244-9894 (Toll Free)
  2. Enter your Member Account Number, followed by the # sign
  3. Enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN) we have established for you, followed by the # sign
  4. Main Menu options will be heard with access to your account information
  5. Select Option 7 (Change your Password) from the Main Menu to change your Personal Identification Number we initially assigned to your accounts

    *It is very important to do these steps immediately

  6. You then will have full access to Dakota Plains Connection

Tips

Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) or Passwords should be changed periodically

We encourage you be careful on selecting your PIN/Password. We recommend that you do not change your password to one of the following:

  • Birth-Dates
  • Social Security Number
  • Phone Numbers
  • Nicknames
  • Addresses
  • Sequential Numbers (1234)
  • Other things you are easily associated with
